Ainsleigh has been in ballet classes for about 1.5 years. We've gone to a few dance performances, but at Christmas time I took her to the ballet for the first time. Of course, we saw the Nutcracker. Here she is with her paper nutcracker.

Then a few weeks ago we went to her second ballet performance to see Cinderella (which I justified by telling myself it was the ballet, not the Disney version).
We have one last ballet excursion planned for the end of May, although Ainsleigh still doesn't know. It will be an end-of-preschool surprise, and it will be the best one yet!
