Con-struction

Some pictures of the progress on the third floor construction. We've had lots of issues and frustration with the whole thing, but hopefully the worst is behind us. The drywallers did a lousy job but the sheet rockers made up for it, and the trim guy did an amazing job as did the tile guy. Pictures from a few weeks ago (mid-project, after the framing and window went in) and today.

I don't think the tile is quite that dark, it's just from the flash since there are no lights up there.

So now we need the rest of the bathroom installed and plumbed, lights, closet shelving, doors hung, carpet, and lots of painting through the house from all the dings and gashes to the existing walls and ceilings. We thought about 2 more weeks, but of course now there is some delay with the vanity cabinet installers. In fairness, a lot of these contractors laid off people with the housing/building slump, and now that things are picking up they are behind on jobs since they're still working with skeleton crews.
