Ainsleigh brought this home from school. It makes me happy for these reasons (not in this order): 1) the picture is so cheery--love the big smile, 2) I love snowmen, 3) her writing is kind of fabulous, 4) I always loved teaching my first graders how to write and seeing things like this multiple times a day. I didn't realize how much I missed that until she showed me this. It's just so great when they can start communicating their ideas and experiences through writing (and drawing). In any case, this makes me happy:
"I like to go build a snowman on snow days."
