Ripken's response to "What do you like about Daddy?" (paraphrased): "His chest hair" (as in, pulling it).Ripken's response to "What do you like to do with Daddy?" (also paraphrased): "Look at the black lamp while he holds me" (there is a black lamp that Ripken stares at whenever Austin holds him on the couch).
Ainsleigh's response to "What do you like about Daddy?" (direct quote): "His face."Ainsleigh's response to "What do you like to do with Daddy?" (another direct quote): "Be silly on the couch with him" (they have grand pillow fights and wrestling matches on the couch).
Today after church we went for a little picnic. Here is Austin with the kids post-picnic:
When we got home, Austin & Ainsleigh finished the peanuts from Friday night's ball game. Ainsleigh has perfected her shell-opening technique and can now open them by herself. If she turns out to have superior fine-motor skills, we'll know why!
