Today we went to two of the Smithsonian museums in Washington DC. First we went to the National Museum of Natural History, mainly because of the dinosaurs.If Ainsleigh ever meets one of these guys, hopefully she won't try to do this:
There was also a very nice Discovery Room for the kids.
She checked every shell to see "if the ocean is in it."
In the insect exhibit she got to touch a stick bug, which she said was her favorite part of the day. She did much better than the 45 year old man who screamed.
Next we went across the Mall to the National Air & Space Museum. We knew she would like all of the moon-related things, and she also really liked all of the airplanes.

You all are having a great time! I can't believe how much there is to do there. Maybe we should move up to Baltimore...Hmmm? Emma would love it!
