After taking a nap to recover from our aquarium outing, it was off to the baseball game. The O's were back in town playing the Pittsburgh Pirates. We got Ainsleigh a bag of peanuts on the way in. She wouldn't let us carry them--they were hers. Check out the second pair of shades. You sure won't take her too seriously looking like this! There were also fireworks at the end of the game. This was the first time Ainsleigh had seen fireworks. She covered her ears for most of it, but really liked them (unlike Ripken, who screamed the whole time). It was a crazy show--it felt like it was verging on reckless as there were so many fireworks going up very fast and, as Austin said, we wouldn't have wanted to be sitting any closer (you can see them in the picture under the black tarps by the dark green/ivy wall). Certainly not the little show we were expecting! Afterwards, I asked Ainsleigh what the fireworks looked like, and she said "the candles on a birthday cake." Well said.
